Capital Markets Data project update

Visitors to this site will quickly notice I lead a busy life. Over the past two and a half years, I've been deeply engaged in various projects. One noteworthy venture was my collaboration with foodtruck.io, where we harnessed their resources to establish a data search engine based on the open-source Amundsen project pioneered by Lyft. It was a visually appealing website where you can find what you want effortlessly. Through this endeavor, I've amassed vast metadata.

For the past 18 months, I've held the role of Director of Economy at Star Atlas, a metaverse game. This role exposed me to blockchain statistics, a type of data I find particularly fascinating. While I await the next chapter in my career to unfold, I've decided to revisit and pick up where I left off with this project. Interestingly, during my hiatus from this project, the site attracted an impressive 130,000 visitors, which I was unaware of until recently.

My plans moving forward are straightforward. I aim to streamline data distribution by providing CSV files in a longer format, containing sections of datasets rather than individual series (similar to the one I've chosen to share). You'll notice two new links at the top in the various subcategories. The first link, "Download Data," will provide a CSV file encompassing all the data in the respective section and likely even more. The second link, "Meta Data," will offer some metadata for the series.

I am committed to keeping this site as up-to-date as possible to enhance its usefulness. Additionally, if you appreciate my efforts, please consider making a donation.
