New database on monthly U.S. imports and exports by World Area and Country Now Available

I have uploaded a monthly history of U.S. exports and imports which begins in January 1920.  U.S. trade is broken down by origin of imports and destination of exports for major world areas, and a few select countries.

The chart below shows the real value of U.S. exports and imports from Africa.  The collapse in trade stands out in the great depression, the late 1980's, and the most recent collapse in commodity prices.  This is commodity rich  Africa.  Having the long-series helps to put the recent collapse in commodity prices in perspective.   This is, after all, what I am seeking - perspective.
