About Steven Sabol

Steven Sabol is the creator of Capital Markets Data.  I grew passionate about economics while studying at Xavier University is Cincinnati, OH.  From there I was hired as the Macro Research Associate at the Richmond Federal Reserve. The three years I spent here provided my formal training in macroeconomics.  I focused heavily on understanding the plumbing of financial markets and labor markets.  I left the Richmond Fed for Dynex Capital (DX) to study and learn how a real investment institution operates. This experience was invaluable to my personal understanding of how investment decisions fit into the overall operation of a publicly traded firm.  This brings us to today.  Frustrated with the paucity of publicly available time-series I launched the Capital Markets Data Project in January of 2018.
